How many do you need?

To decorate a letter, it depends on how densely packed you want the carnation flowers and whether you want to decorate the outer and inside edges of the flowers or just the front-facing foam. For letters such as 'I', you will need less than letters such as 'E'. We recommend allocating 75-100 per letter, but this can vary depending on how you would like the foam decorated. It's better to have a surplus amount, as there may be areas which require extra flowers once the letter has been completed.

For foam shapes 

If you want the carnations bunched up densely, we recommend 30-40 carnation picks to fill an area which is 30cm x 30cm, this is variable on the required density of the flowers.
